2016 Blackwood Marathon entries are open. Not many changes so far for this year. We are still encouraging Equestrian participtaion with Sponsorship for Equestrian clubs and prizes for horses through RWWA and their "Off the Track" program.

Sponsorship for Equestrian Clubs. If your Horse or Pony Club (recognised incorporated body) can supply at least two horses and riders for The Event we will pay your Club $100 and up to $400 for five or more entries, see claim form for specific details.

RWWA. Through Off The Track, The Blackwood Marathon 2015 is able to offer a total of $1000 cash for eligible Thoroughbred and a Standardbred entries. See the entry form and stay tuned for specific prize details.

Canoeists please note that there is usually numerous portages on the course, over trees rocks and shallow areas of the river, fixed keels are not recommended as they may be damaged.
